Natasha Lazarova moved from Macedonia to Sweden in 2014 as an exchange student. Little did she know that she would lead some of Detectify’s most important development projects within one short year. Few people know Detectify’s website as well as our web developer Martina Janevska. Originally from Macedonia, Martina moved to Sweden to do a master’s in software engineering and joined Detectify’s web development team in the spring of 2015. We talked to her about her work, how she maintains a security-oriented mindset, and what it takes to be a successful developer.
If you use Detectify, you have probably met Johan Båth, our Customer Success Manager who is the first point of contact for many of our customers. After completing his degree in mechanical engineering in Uppsala, Johan first dipped his toes into the startup world in San Francisco. His entrepreneurial spirit and technical background combined with experience in web development and customer support led him to Detectify, where he tirelessly guides our customers through the setup process and troubleshooting.
Linus Särud stumbled across the world of web security by accident after finding a virus on his computer. His security career quickly took off and at 14, he hacked Google. Now, at 17, he is a web security columnist at IDG Sweden as well as a skilled security researcher and much appreciated member of the Detectify team. This is the story of how he became a white hat hacker and Detectify employee.
